Ice cream will be made in a reproduction 18th-century sabotiere. To get the most hands-on experience, arrive at 1:00 pm to help prepare the ice, turn the sabotiere, and try just a taste. Documented 18th-century flavors will be reproduced using original receipts (recipes).\NThe Bouman-Stickney Farmstead is in the Stanton section of Readington. This family-friendly event is a wonderful way to enjoy time together with family. Each session includes making history-inspired crafts such as candles, tin designs, pomanders, and ink. Children will also learn to write with a quill pen, play historic games, and learn an English country dance. The cost per child per day is $10.00.</p><p>Please pre-register and pay before each session.
